Funeral for Catherine Hooie, 83, of Moulton will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Barker and Bro. Gary Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hooie, who died Sunday, November 20, 2011, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born November 3, 1928, in Limestone County to Clarence Neeley and Elsie Meredith Neeley. She was longtime member of Midway Church of Christ. Her husband, P.O. Hooie, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Steve Hooie (Martha) of Grant; two daughters, Judy Raney of Trinity and Lorna Standridge of Moulton; four grandchildren, Chris and Amanda Hooie of Moulton, Amanda and Greg Romans of Athens, Zach and Erica Standridge of Trinity and Matt and Kimberly Standridge of Decatur; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
