EstaLee Pirkle

EstaLee Pirkle was preceded in death by her husband Gwin Pirkle, parents Nolen and Ellen Johnson and her brothers Ray, Juan and Joe Johnson. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Steve Pirkle (Debbie Lee Pirkle) and Debbie Dunlap (Jeff Dunlap) all of Decatur, AL; her grandchildren: Daniel Pirkle (Haingo), Timothy Pirkle (Mallory), Jon Dunlap (Emily), Clint Dunlap (Sarah Beth); her great-grandchildren: Lillie, Adalynn and Eva Pirkle, Lincoln, Grant, Sarah Gwen and Thomas Dunlap.

EstaLee was born June 18, 1929, in Lauderdale County, AL. She graduated from Lauderdale County High School in 1947. After graduation, she moved to Decatur to work at the Hosiery Mill. She then worked for Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company from which she retired.

She attended Austinville United Methodist Church for about 70 years. She loved her church and the many precious friendships that she made.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro Jeff Sellers officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Graveside service will follow the funeral service at Roselawn.
