Mrs. Baker was affectionately known as Maw Maw by her great-grandchildren, Parker and Hunter Allen and Elizabeth and Sam Cochran. Several nieces and nephews survive her. Maw Maw loved her family and enjoyed everything they were involved in. That support will be greatly missed along with her wonderful cooking.
Most of her life was spent in the First Christian Church, but for the past few years, she was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Baker and her family endured the Great Depression making her a hardworking woman, progressing from plant work to selling Stanley Home Products. Later, she became co-owner of the Brides Corner and after selling that business she spent much of her time in landscaping and gardening.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Parker Allen and Sam Cochran.
