Funeral for Gary Clinton Blagburn, 72, of Decatur will be Monday, March 21, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Manley officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be Monday two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Blagburn, who died Friday, March 18, 2011, was born May 9, 1938. He was a basketball coach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Ruby Blagburn, and his wife of 47 years, Jackye Mills Blagburn.
Survivors include one son, Blake Blagburn (Vickie); one daugther, Marna Sneed (Bengy); one brother, Autry Blagburn; and one grandson, Braden Blagburn.
Pallbearers will be Ric Blagburn, Jake Blagburn, Braden Blagburn, Ralph Hurst, Jackie Coulter and Tommy Nebrig.
Honorary Pallbearers will be former basketball players he coached.
