Jackie Glenn Holmes

Burial will be in Burningtree Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Holmes died Sunday April 30, 2017 at NHC nursing facility. He was born January 20, 1945 in Morgan County to A.L. Holmes and Itaska Blankenship Holmes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sonny Holmes, and Mark Holmes, one sister, Joy Holmes Ellis.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Gwen Randolph Holmes; one daughter, Decatur City Councilwoman, Paige Holmes-Bibbee(Brent); two granddaughters, Katheryn(Katie) Elease Bibbee and Caroline Grace Bibbee; three brothers, Philip Holmes (Jimmie), Michael Holmes, and Tim Holmes(Carla); two sisters, Nancy Holmes Parker, and Rachel Holmes Shores (Al). Also many wonderful Nieces and Nephews whom he loved very much.

Pallbearers will be Decatur City Firefighters.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to the kind people with Alacare Home Health and Hospice, and the NHC nursing facility for the love and support they have given to our family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Decatur City Fire Dept. Brothers for Life Fund PO Box 505 Ardmore, TN. 38449 in Jackie’s name.
