Burial will be in Johnson's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson, who died Monday, April 19, 2010, was born November 25, 1965, in Decatur to William Russell Johnson and Vera Mae Johnson. He was a graduate of Austin High School and played drums in many bands throughout North Alabama, most recently with the Christian rock band After the Rain. He was an employee of Holaway's Market for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Doris Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of three and a half years, Heather Morgan Johnson; his father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Sherry Morgan; brothers-in-law, Jeremy Morgan, John Morgan and Anthony Morgan; sisters-in-law, Kristi (Shannon) Watts and Holly (Jason) Runager; nieces, Lindsay, Kalyssa, Emily and Olivia Watts, and Makenna Runager.
Pallbearers will be friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers at Holaway's Market, fellow musicians and the Casey family.
