John Dowman Darsey, 84, of Decatur, passed away on January 5, 2018. His visitation will be on Monday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Callie Moore Darsey, daughter, Susan Darsey, granddaughter Lilli Darsey, stepdaughter, Nicole Moore, and step-son Art Moore(Janet Blackwood), and step-granddaughter, Shanna Dunn.
Mr. Darsey loved being outdoors and working outdoors. He served his country in the U.S. Army, was a member of Elks Lodge # 655, and was a big Alabama Football Fan, ROLL TIDE!!
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
