Kenneth James "Buddy" Chambers, 77, of Decatur, passed away on June 20, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Funeral Services will be Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with John Norman officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Chambers was born July 6, 1936, to Linus and Reatha Chambers. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lynda Chambers; sister, Jenna Lou Favors; brother, Billy Chambers; and grandson, Whitt Chambers.
Mr. Chambers is survived by his wife, Betty Kelly Chambers; daughter, Patricia Congo of Decatur; sons, Wayne (Pam) Chambers of Moulton, Bryan Chambers of Priceville, Marty (Nicole) Chambers of Decatur; eight grandchildren, Lee, Brad, Dustin, Krystyn and Arden Chambers, Brooke Johnson, Heather Congo and Trent Terry; five great-grandchildren, Randy and Dayton Chambers, Kaylee and Kaleb Johnson and Jansen Terry.
Pallbearers will be Randy, Lee, Dustin, and Brad Chambers, Trent Terry, and Jacob Johnson.
