Linda Spain McCarver, 70, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was a native of Decatur, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Beatrice Montgomery; son, Matt Spain; husband, JD McCarver; brothers, Bob and Randy Montgomery; sister-in-law, Judi Montgomery and brother-in-law, Billy Bowman.
Linda is survived by her ex-husband and best friend, Jerry Spain; daughters, Angie Spain (David) Wall and Jenny Spain; brother, Ronnie (Bonita) Montgomery; sister, Janice Bowman; grandchildren, Andie Wall, Austin Wall and Landon Dye; stepchildren, Dale (Joanie) McCarver, Sheila (Don) Agnew and Sharon (Jim) Caperton; and many other cherished family members and friends. A special thanks to Kim Proctor and Denise Hutto of Hospice of the Valley for their loving care and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
