Mae Nelson Posey, 76, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at Decatur General Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1935 to John and Audrey Nelson. Mrs. Posey retired from Compass Bank. After retiring from the banking industry, Mae enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, Bingo and card games, and her precious pets.
Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Carrie Nacole Ray.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy Worley (Tina); daughter, Vicki Large (Russ) and Sharon Ray; grandchildren, Heather Worley, Courtney Large and Alex Worley.
The visitation will be Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with Bro. Steve Kelso officiating. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Earl Worley, Bruce Worley, Odis Ray, Todd Large, Tim Wright, Mark Hill and Donnie Ferguson.
