The funeral for Mrs. Margaret (Peggy) Jones Miller, 89, of Decatur will be Thursday, December 19, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Evan Garner officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at St. John’s for one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Miller, who died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, was born August 28, 1924, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Raymond and Irene Jones. She graduated from Huntsville High School and attended Agnes Scott College, and graduated in 1946.
Mrs. Miller was married to the late Dr. Robert M. Miller, Sr. in October of 1946. They were always together until his death in 2010. She was a devoted wife and loving mother/grandmother. Peggy enjoyed music, dancing, and collecting antiques.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Bob" M. Miller Jr. of Fairfax, Va.; daughter-in-law, Dorian Anne Miller of Fairfax, Va.; and six grandchildren, Whitney, Morgan, Kyle, Hannah, Erin and Taylor.
Memorials may be made to the Free Clinic of Decatur Morgan County.
