Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. McTaggart, who died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Riverside Senior Living was born Oct. 27, 1928, in Calhoun, Tenn., to Luther M. Plank and Irene Bacon Plank. She worked at Dupont in Chattanooga, Tenn., was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Decatur. She was a loving grandmother and mother who adored her family. She was active in her church and in the lives of her grandchildren. Her husband of 39 years, A.H. "Mac" McTaggart, and brothers, John Plank and Scott Plank, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Keith McTaggart of Decatur; grandchildren, Anna McTaggart and Adam McTaggart; and the mother of her grandchildren, Karen McTaggart-Aggen.
