Mildred Crow Putman, 77, of Decatur, passed away on August 13, 2024. Her visitation will be on Saturday August 17th from 12pm until 1pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life will follow at 1pm in the chapel of the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Caddo Cemetery in Trinity, Alabama.
She is survived by her 3 sons; Phillip Crow(Pam), Joel McGuyre(Rita), and Joseph McGuyre(Zoni), one daughter; Marsha Metz(Jeff), three sisters; Dee Cass(AL), Peggy Basham(Randy), and Tonia Crow, nephew; Troy, and one brother; Albert Crow.
One very special young man; Donald Crow, the love of her life. Eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly. She was a seamstress, and a security guard. But most of all she was a caregiver to many. She took care of others before herself. She loved to grow flowers; yellow roses were her favorite. She loved everyone and was the best mother, grandmother, and sister.
Pallbearers will be: Christian Fagan, Wiley Martin, Chelsea McGuyre, Joel McGuyre III, Troy Crow, and Jonathon Amerson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
