Murray worked in the field of industrial sheet metal design and fabrication. During his life, his family was his top priority. He was a loving Daddy and Granddaddy. He never met a stranger, was a good friend to all and was loved dearly by his family and friends. In his youth, he was a standout, all-state center and linebacker for Ensley High School. Murray loved nature and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He was very passionate about sports, dancing, music and Auburn football. His love of The Lord was tremendous and he displayed it every day in the way he treated people. He truly would've given a stranger the shirt off of his back and will be missed by many. The family would like to thank his caregivers at Ormond Nursing and Care Center who assisted him for the past six years.
In lieu of flowers the family requests gifts to St. Jude or the charity of your choice.
