Norma Ann Grubb Watkins, 76, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Huntsville Hospital after a short illness. She was born March 4, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Norman J. and Dorothy Grubb. She graduated from Southern Adventist University in 1960 with a degree in Nursing and worked at Decatur General Hospital for 22 years, retiring in 1991. She was an active member of the Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Watkins is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, William Harrison Grubb and Norman Dale Grubb. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles L. Watkins of Decatur and one daughter, Alison Watkins of Montclair, VA; two sisters, Rhonda Beswick (Bob) of Lakeland, FL and Sharon Angelle of Haines City, FL and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Pitt officiating. A time of visitation will be from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home with burial at Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
