Funeral for Reuben Clifton "Cliff" Turner, 88, of Decatur will be Sunday, May 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Hugh Bohlin officiating. Burial will be in Raper Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner, who died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Parkway Medical Center, was born January 16, 1924, in Morgan County to John Turner and Lena Holder Turner. He was a retired ironworker with 50 years of service and a member of the Local 550, Canton, Ohio. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Cedar Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Grace Hitt Turner; two sons, Ronnie C. Turner (Flora) of Florien, La., and Mike Turner (Barbara) of Hazel Green; one daughter, Sharon McDonald (Barry) of Decatur; six grandchildren, Robin Brown, Chane Turner, Rachel Collier, Rebekcah Boggan, Jared Turner and Patrick Turner; and six great-grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Emmy Turner, Gracie Turner, Jakob Day, Tyler Wilson and Tanner Wilson.
