Funeral for Richard Barry Dutton, 59, of New Hope will be Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J. Ben Killingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Chapel Cemetery in Hartselle. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Dutton went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2010, at his residence. He was born October 7, 1950, in Decatur to James Clarence Dutton and Jessie Mae Starr Dutton. He retired from TVA.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lemley Dutton; two daughters, Carla Renae Dutton of Moulton and Theresa Dutton Wilson of Decatur; one stepson, Jerad Troy Honea; one stepdaughter, Amanda Honea Conville; four grandchildren, Jacob Blake Dutton, Justice Wayne Scott, Kayley Alexandria Newton and Jessie Sunshine Cheeks; two stepgrandchildren, Olivia Grace Conville, Leeland Troy Honea and one great-grandchild, Makenzi Jade Dutton.
Pallbearers will be Harold Widner, Jerry Welch, Chris Hyde, Larry Wayne Braswell, Ricky Riggs and Dale Vandiver.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Grady Widner and Larry Braswell.
