Bob I am so sorry to learn of Ruth's passing.  I just happened to check the obits and her name was the first I saw.  She was a lovely person in so many ways and you were lucky to have her for all those years.  My thoughts are with you.

Mrs. McKenzie was an extremely bright and helpful lady.  She subsitute taught for several classes I took during my years in Decatur.  My prayers are with the family.

I will always have special memories of Miss Ruth. I first got to meet and work with her at the clinic. She was quite the character and I had great respect for her. One of my fondest memories centered around seeing her loving husband, Bob bring their lunch up to the clinic on whatever days she was able to volunteer. He would come in with their food and they'd go on down to the little break room for their lunch break. It was very sweet and I admired the obvious love shown in a couple who've been together for a long time. Miss Ruth, I'll see you on the other side! Praying blessings & peace over Mr. Bob, M.M. & other family members during this time of loss.

I met and liked Ruth before I met any other of the McKenzies. She was intelligent, feisty, and full of fun - a great lady. 
She'll be sorely missed.
