Susie Campbell Huey

Susie Campbell Huey, 94, of Decatur, passed away on, June, 21, 2017, Susie was born on May 23, 1923 in Bessemer, Alabama, to Albert Eugene. and Edythe Bell Mason Campbell. She is retired from Decatur City Schools. Mrs. Huey has been a member of Central Baptist Church since 1968 where she served in many areas including teaching Sunday School and playing in the ukulele choir. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 59 years, Banes Milton Huey, Jr., her sisters, Elizabeth Byram, Doris Crowe, Mary Brown McDonald, and son-in-law, Dwight Brown. Mrs. Huey is survived by, her brother, J.P. Campbell of Hueytown, daughters, Lynne Marks (Herman), Darla Brown, Peggy McKleroy (Alan) all of Decatur. Grandchildren, Jay Brown, Adam Brown (Elaine), Ashley Lawson (Ben), Amber McKleroy, and April McKleroy. Four Great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, at Noon. Visitation will be 10:30 to noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be nephews and close friends.
