Bonita M. Ciccarello

Bonnie "Dolly" Ingrassia Ciccarello, of Dix Hills, New York, formerly of Port St Lucie, FL and Bay Shore, NY, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 21st, 2026 at the age of 100. Having been born in the Bronx on February 12, 1926 to loving parents Antonietta and Giuseppe, and having been predeceased by her brother Tommy, sister Rose, and husband James Ciccarello, Bonnie leaves behind a loving family. Devoted Mother of Diane and Christine who mourn her loss, Bonnie is also survived by Sons-in-Law Peter and Willie, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Even as she approached her final days, Bonnie remained a cheerful woman who embraced and personified the roles of Mother and Grandmother, and she happily allocated every last unit of available time in her life to those causes. Ever the object of attention in the room as she spread laughter and affection endlessly, Bonnie and

her unconditional love will truly be missed together with her famous meatballs and other culinary delights. In accordance with Bonnie's wishes there will be a private ceremony to honor her life along with funeral arrangements to be finalized at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
