Earl Davis Wright, age 79, of Deer Park passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Earl was born September 16, 1942. Being mechanically inclined, he was the successful business owner of The Wright Way Maintenance and had the reputation of being a true "Mr. Fix-it." There wasn't a problem too big he couldn't handle from cars to electric. He cheered for the Dallas Cowboys and Boston Red Sox, but was also an avid reader and described by some as a "news hound." In his spare time, he expressed his artistic side through his passion for wood carving.
Earl is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Betty) and loving children David and Dale. Cherished Poppy to Nicholas, Joseph and Jack. Also survived by his sister Barbara Waksmunski.
A visitation for Earl will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729., A funeral service will occur Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home, followed by interment at North Babylon Cemetery, Livingston Avenue, North Babylon, NY 11702.
