Margherita Tudisco

It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Margherita Damiano Tudisco. She was born on June 11, 1938 in Sicily and came to America in 1965 to meet her future husband, Giuseppe Tudisco. They were married in Italy on March 21, 1966. They lived in Brooklyn and raised three beautiful children whom they were very proud of. They lived in Valley Stream and Deer Park where they ultimately settled. Margherita was a successful business owner for many years. She owned Carousel Hair Salon in Deer Park and worked as a beautician up until her death. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Her family was her life. Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Her suffering is over. May you rest in peace, mama. No more hospitals! Miss you already!

Margherita is survived by her loving husband, Joseph (Giuseppe), children ~ Rosanna Shooshtary, Robert and Michael Tudisco; grandchildren – Joey, Brian, Gabriella, James, Christian, Anthony, Sarah, Brandon, and Nicole; sister Tania: brothers Salvatore (Antonina), Onofrio (Maria), Antonio (Angela), and Paolo and countless relatives and friends.

A visitation for Margherita will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10:15 AM at Ss Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY. An entombment will occur Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 11:45 AM at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
