To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated, but to the happy, I am at peace and to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand, upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea – remember me. As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty - remember me. As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity – remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.
My brother, my good friend, why has your life come to an end?
He is my brother, a wonderful son, a respected and admired father to Kevin and Sandy, and a grandpa.
The long list of friends and family that are hurting because he was taken too soon is a testament his gentle loving concern for all.
He cared; he loved, and was the one you could count on when everyone else disappeared.
He fought, he tried, but all we could do was watch this horrible disease kill a wonderful guy.
Mark was always there to help you get by; he was just a friendly, and dam nice guy.
I have learned that death makes no sense, and has no order, priorities, or compassion.
From actor, to recording engineer, and running the family business, Mark was compassionate and unstoppable.
At the age of 53 he proves that “Only the good die young”, is real.
Rest my little brother and be free from all that pain we hoped would pass.
I will miss you till the day that I get to be with you again!
