So many memories.  So many good times.  My dad was always there for all his boys.  I remember playing ice hockey at night in a men’s league and the times were not particularly suited for those who like sleeping normal hours.  Every game I would look up in the stands and my father would be there no matter what time it was.   He would come over after the game and give me tips and tell me how much he enjoyed the game.   I was playing 4-5 nights a week back then,  this was 98-2003,  and he never missed a game.  Wherever I look Dad,  I’ll always see your face.  That big smile that said I’m proud of my son (even if it was a second rate team in a third rate league).   You will be missed terribly.   You will never be forgotten.  

My mind is racing with so many memories.  One of my earliest memories is when we bought our home on E. 9th St..  Nick was suppose to have a room to himself but he shared his small bedroom with me.  There wasn't enough room for two beds so my parents bought a cot for me to sleep on.  Nick would not let me sleep on the cot and insisted that my 'Mother' give me the bed.  He taught me to play stickball, baseball, football.  He bought me my first baseball glove a 'Mickey Mantle' model.  Which I cherish to this day.  He played for 'Mellot Park' in the 'Brooklyn Softball League' and the 'Ravens' in the 'Parade Ground Baseball League' he was a 'GREAT' Catcher who was offered several contracts to play professional ball.   Nick would take me to 'Ebbets Field' to see the 'Brooklyn Dodgers' play.  They never lost when we went.  'This Kid' could not have asked for a better BIG 'Brother'. Wonderful man . Was my first little league coach  at Gil Hodges little league .  He always treated us well and got the most out of us . God bless him and the family .

I will never forget the yearly vacations to Lake George at Hammonds motel. We would have dinner at Mama Risos Italian restaurant. My Dad was so even keeled and wouldn't get mad even when my cousin Billy who was and is more like a brother to me, caught frogs in a stream in back of the restaurant and Billy let them go in the restaurant. Of course my brother's and I thought it was hysterical, my Dad just took it in stride. I remember playing baseball, and football, my Dad never missed a game and how much he enjoyed watching us play sports. I spent a lot of time with my Dad over the last 4 years after he was diagnosed with lung cancer going to Sloan Kettering every 3 weeks for treatments, Dad never complained he would be getting chemo and eating lunch at the same time, he was tough as nails. We talked a lot of sports and stocks. He was a Brooklyn Dodger fan and became a Met fan and even though I am a Yankee fan he would follow the Yankees so we could have good conversations about both teams. Big Giants and Rangers fan too. #MissyouDad
