I met Rich in Oneonta my sophomore year , we lived in a house with Mark Christenen, Danny, Bob Tintner and more.  Rich was a great friend and helped me so much to settle in at college, plus he knew all of Bob Dylans songs especially all the words to Desolation Row. We saw each others for years after school but lost touch a few years ago and I just saw his obit in the Oneonta Alumni Magazine.  So sorry I did not know he was a true friend, will miss him.

I count Rich as dear friend. More than 30 years at Arrow. Always enjoyed his visits to Salt Lake and his straight forward picture of things. We need more like him. Love you Rich.

I was fortunate to have been friends with Rich for the last 20 years.  We had great times playing golf in Ireland and Long Island. Even when there was a distance between where we lived, Rich always stayed in touch and was a wonderful friend.

The last time we said goodbye in Denver with a big hug and a kiss on the cheek you were so happy, little did I know that would be the last time I would see you.We will never forget our special friend. I will always remember the 40 years of friendship and good times we shared, from the long hard days of work to the even longer, harder days of play. Ann and I fondly recall the many days spent poolside on Long Island as well as our visits together once we left NY. To a great friend and a great person!

You were my new friend who, over 45 years, became my old friend.  The intangible something that allows for this remains.  An enjoyer of life's richness, you are a part of so many of my best moments. As best man to me, you were there when my family began and, through the years, were there for my kids to see how friendship can thread throughout. You are missed and, at the same time,  remain always there.

I had the honor of being Rich's mailman since 1990, he was one of my favorite people on the route. I was lucky enough to be a friend also. 25 years of knowing him still wasn't enough , He will be missed dearly.

It was a pleasure to know Rich during his years at Arrow. His unique spirit is legendary.
His work ethic was admirable, his curiosity was unwavering, and his opinions were strong.

R.I.P Rich.  We met on my first day at Schweber in 1979, and have had the pleasure of working with you since. My final goodbye to you was a hug, and a smile, wishing you again, congratulations on your 40 years of service.  We were heading home that day.  I did not know that was the last time we would have spoken. It was very rewarding to see how happy you were, for the recognition you deserved for your years of service and 8 diamond pin. One of my fondest memories with you was a day in Germany, leading the walk across town, and for hours, our destination was "just a bit more to go"  You could always walk forever. You are the kindest, and biggest hearted person I know and I will miss that from you the most. My heart breaks for your family for being gone before your time. My condolences to all of the Arseneau Family. Rest in peace Rich.

It was so touching to watch Rich's expression as he received his 40th anniversary service pin in Denver. He was so appreciative of the well deserved standing ovation that he received from his colleagues . May the angels in heaven greet him with the same fond regard . Schweber Electronics late 1970's - had the good fortune to work with Rich and over the years we kept in touch from time to time...sharing stories of the crazy days of electronics distribution..the characters we worked for and with..Rich was never at a loss for any trivia question i could run by him..he came for a visit and we took a ball game in and we talked about the NY Mets as we both grew up with them...
I was saddened to hear of his passing...
I will keep his memory forever...i am a better person for knowing him....god bless...

Besides being very friendly (and talkative), Rich took some of the most amazing pictures of landscapes & scenery during his many vacations over the 40 years he was with Arrow - I'm glad to have know him for 37+ of those years.  Rich, you will be missed by your family, friends and so many colleagues.

I am so grateful and blessed to have been able to call Rich my friend. He had an amazing presence. He was funny, kind, helpful, and he has left a great void. He was never short of stories especially ones involving his family (many including his nieces and nephews who he loved so dearly). He always made you feel as if you were his favorite, but I know Rich had many and we will always be grateful to have known him and called him a friend. We will think of him as we progress on, while we watch the Mets, or when we stumble across some bizarre fact, that of course he already knew :). I know that I will not be able to think of Rich without a big smile coming to my face, all those stories, lots of laughs. My heart is aching. Prayers for Rich and his family. When we were in Denver recently he showed me a picture of just part of his large family. He was so proud when sharing details about each person. Rich will be terribly missed.

So shocked by his sudden passing, it brings into stark relief what is important in our lives. I will feel forever fortunate that I became friends with Rich, he was a wonderful person to know and laugh with. I will miss him greatly.
