After living a selfless life filled with doing what she could for others, Roseann Agugliaro passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 67, on Long Island, NY. Roseann endured many health challenges over the course of her life but that never deterred her from sharing her big heart and generosity for others through her words and actions. Whether she was knitting blankets for family, friends and mothers in need or watching her beloved NY Mets, she always found joy in sharing her creations and stories with loved ones. It didn’t take much to bring her joy in return; a phone conversation to reflect on a recent family milestone or a visit spending time together over a cup of hazelnut coffee. She gained strength from the support system of dear family and friends in her life.
As a younger adult she was a regular companion to her father on his weekend fishing trips and her twin sister dancing the night away in the disco. She worked many years as a clerk in insurance companies and law firms. A reliable and hardworking person, you could always count on Roseann never forgetting anything she had been told. As she grew older, her health declined and she became increasingly unable to live independently. She was blessed to become a resident of a wonderful home where she obtained the love and support she deserved from the doctors, nurses and staff.
Never married, Roseann found so much joy in the relationships she had with her family, most especially her nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with a great niece whom she loved. Pictures of all her family members adorned her home.
While Roseann lost her loving father and best friend Pasquale sixteen months ago, she is survived by her loving mother Camille and also leaves behind three siblings: Maria Giaccone (Frank), Camille Wrynn, and BJ (Jeannine). She had eight nieces and nephews, whom she adored: Frank and Chris Giaccone, Patrick and Christina Wrynn and Katherine, Chris, Gabrielle and Mary Agugliaro and her great niece, Liana. She is also survived by numerous caring aunts, uncles and cousins.
She will be immensely missed and we will continue her love of family, friends and baseball.
A visitation for Roseann will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St Elizabeth RC Church, Wolf Hill Rd, Melville, NY. A burial will occur Friday, February, 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
