Ann Nelson Grainger, 89, of Hillsboro Beach, FL, and formerly of Cartersville, GA, passed away on January 17, 2016. She was born August 23, 1926 in Cartersville to Cliff and Josie Nelson. Ann was a member of the Board of Realtors of Greater Fort Lauderdale, the Georgia Bar, and Community Presbyterian Church. She was active in her community by serving on the Hillsboro Beach Town Commission for 13 years, 7 of which were spent as Mayor. Ann and her late husband, Floyd Grainger, were the founding developers of Tiara East Condominiums in Deerfield Beach in 1966. Ann continued her Real Estate career as a Broker for Ann Grainger Realty, the company that she co-owned with her daughter. Ann is survived by her beloved daughter, Ann Creed, and loving grandson, Kenny Grainger Nelson. Memorial Service will be Sat, Jan 23rd at 3pm at Community Presbyterian Church.
