John Albert Prager

May 25, 1933 to November 22, 2019 passed away peacefully surrounded in love by his family.

Son of Johann and Matilde (Regler) Prager, he was born & raised in Munich, Germany.

John came to the US in 1956 and shortly thereafter honorably served in the US Army until 1959 as a Private First Class. John worked many years in manufacturing and sales positions for Hoffman Brothers and Riddell before retiring from Schoen Machinery as its President for North America.

John is survived by his children John (Anne) Prager and Peggy Prigge and their mother Hertha Prager, grandchildren Nick (Dana) Prager, Adam Prager, Madison and Michael Prigge and great grandson Jack Prager. He is also survived by his sisters Ingeborg McTearnen, Hanelore (Erwin) Mueller, Gertraud Niederhuber, Christa Kempa, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bernadette (Holtzritter) Prager.

Special thanks to his dear friend Elizabeth Deckert who lovingly cared for him these last years.
