

He was born on May 8, 1958 to the late George W. B. Gilliss & the late Thelma L. (Pepper) Gilliss at Beverly Hospital.
Having started his life living in Magnolia, Mass. he moved to Tampa Florida, where he completed high school at Tampa Bay Technical Vocational School. After graduating he became a typesetter at the Tampa Tribune newspaper. He later moved to Deerfield Beach and was working for the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel as a Journeyman typesetter when he passed away.
Paul loved sports. He followed the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, loved football both professional & college. He also loved fast cars. He followed all kinds of racing, NASCAR, FORMULA 1, Drag Racing, Indy Racing.
He had a great love for his brother & sisters along with his nieces & nephews. He had a very close relationship with his sister Lori as they were very close in age. He also had long time relationships with his many friends. Our "goofy" little brother will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Judy Ann Gilliss of Manchester-by-the Sea, Massachusetts.
Brad and Noreen Gilliss, their son David of Magnolia, Mass.
Lori Gilliss, her daughter Christin of Winterville, North Carolina.
Leslie (Gilliss) Lopes, her daughters Kelly and Steve Curley, their children Mackenzie, Natalie and Connor. Jaclyn and D. J. Olson, their children Quinn, Miles and Caleb. Heather Lopes & her partner Garrett Rhodes. Ashley & her partner Julian Jackson.
His Uncle John Dunbar and wife Rosalind of Essex, Mass., along with Sean and Debbie Gilliss of Essex, Mass.
Nephew Jason Jacobs and grand nephews Ryan and Noah of Abington, Mass.
He was pre-deceased by his niece Jennifer (Gilliss) Jacobs, brother in law Guy Lopes, brother in law Bob Clements.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
