Thomas Joseph Flatley

Thomas was born in the Bronx, NY, and graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The City College of NY. From there, he went on to complete Officer’s Candidacy at Fort Sills, OK and served in the Korean Conflict as an Artillery Officer in the US Army. He received a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Thomas worked for 27 years at American Airlines and eventually retired as a Senior Executive.

Thomas was a founding member of the Middletown Elks Lodge 2179. He enjoyed sailing, was an avid reader, and a devoted community volunteer. Thomas was a parishioner at St Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach, FL.

Thomas is also survived by his beloved children, Thomas Jr (wife, Joyce), Christina, John (wife, Barbara), and Joseph; and his cherished grandchildren, Jan, Samantha, and Conor.

Thomas was an adored husband, father, and friend, and will be missed by all who knew him.
