Alfred “Sonny” J. Goate passed on from his life on February 17, 2015 at his residence in Oklahoma City at the age of 68 years old. He was born on September 13, 1946 to Rev. John J. and Athelena (Fish) Goate. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Gabriella Daphne Goate Johnson, sisters, Kathrine “Sissy” Goate, Rachael Williams, and Margaret Chucalate.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Harrison Goate, sons, Winfred Lee Davis of the home and Craig Farber, grandchildren, Eric Martinez of the home and Savannah Davis of Moore, Oklahoma, sisters, Alice Mae Lott of Louisiana and Lydia Jean Harrison of Seminole Oklahoma, numerous nieces, nephews, adopted children and grandchildren.
