

Arlon S. Day fought the good fight and went to be with his Savior on Nov. 10, 2013. He was born Nov. 26,1962 in Haxton, CO, and lived a life of 50 years as a humble servant of the Lord. He was a beloved husband, stepfather, brother, friend and -most precious to him-“Papa Arlon.”
The Lord blessed our lives with this kind, unselfish man who truly was the most gentle soul to all. Arlon’s love for the Lord ruled who he was and how he treated others.
Arlon was born and raised on his family’s farm in Yuma, CO. Throughout his life, he continued to work in agriculture. For the last 6 years, he served as General Manager of Farmer’s Elevator Company in Ames, OK, where he hand picked his employees and leaves them with confidence and appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
Arlon is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Darlene Day and his fifth precious grandchild, Annie Ahern. He leaves behind his wife Becky, stepchildren- Molly and husband, Matt Hansen, Robert and wife, Abbey Ahern, Sarah McElyea, Laura Ahern and fiancé, Caleb Kirby, and beautiful grandchildren-Addee Hansen, Mikey Hansen, Dylan Ahern and Harper Ahern. Brothers and sisters- Marlyn and husband, Wayne Ferguson of Parks, NE, Don Day of Prescott Valley, AZ, Bryce and wife, Lynetta Day of Yuma, CO, Charlotte and husband, Darwin Pardoe of Yuma, CO, Charlene and husband, Chuck Huwa of Yuma, CO, and many dear nieces and nephews.
He was a bright light to his family, friends and community. Inspiring each of us to love like Jesus!
