Arnold Dewitt Lewis

Arnold D. Lewis, 81 year-old resident of Midwest City, OK, passed away May 31, 2011. Born November 19, 1929 in Washburn, AR, he was the son of Arthur “Pete” Lewis and Maudie Morgan Lewis. Arnold had retired from the military after 20 years of service and had worked in civil service for 10 years. He had served as an elder at both Choctaw Church of Christ and Ridgecrest Church of Christ in Midwest City. Arnold loved fishing; family; RV travel; and fellowship with Christian friends. He married Betty J. Lewis on August 10, 1991 in OKC, OK. He was preceded in death by Pauline Lewis and 1 step-son, Chuck Marsten. Survivors include 2 step-daughters, Tana Yarbrough of Midwest City, OK; Linda Wright of Harrah, OK; 1 son-in-law, Richard Wright of Harrah, OK; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Wright; Dustin Hudson; Brooke Hudson; Blake Yarbrough; Lance Marsten; and Carey Marsten; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Ridgecrest Church of Christ, 500 N. Air Depot, MWC, OK.
