She was a loving wife to Jack for 58 years. They enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the birds feed out of the feeders that he hung up for her. She enjoyed seek and word puzzles and coloring in coloring books. She also liked to travel back home to South Carolina to visit family and friends. She will truly be missed by her husband.
Barbara raised five kids - Dan, Diane, Brenda, James, and Bill. She was a wonderful and caring mom. She would never buy herself something new until she made sure all of her kids had what they needed. She was always happy about the way our family is close and we are there for each other. Mom, we love you and we will miss you very much. Thank you for all your love and support.
Her family doesn't just stop there. She has grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being around them. She always smiled when they would come to visit. NaNa, we love you and will miss you.
She also has daughters-in-law, but she never considered them as that; they were just daughters in her eyes. They were always there to help anytime she needed. Her children do appreciate everything that y'all did. They will miss her.
Whatever her title is - wife, mother, grandmother, or NaNa - she will truly be missed. We love you always. May you rest in peace.
