

Betty Lou (Lankford) Bailey, 77, passed away June 23, 2012. She was born September 5, 1934 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Clarence and Mattie (Shipley) Lankford. Betty loved OU, OSU and enjoyed shopping, casinos, reading romance novels and eating out. Her greatest achievements were raising 9 children and being a successful business owner of The Skyline Restaurant which she was able to purchase after working many years as a waitress. She was a strong independent business woman and would do anything to help others. She was a great person who touched many lives with her customers and employees becoming part of her family. Betty attended the House of Prayer Church. She is survived by her husband LeRoy Bailey; children, Jimmy Wallin (Teri) of Moore, Joe Wallin (Saundra), Lonnie Wallin (Dottie) of Midwest City, Clint Wallin (Valerie), Sandra Faught (Steve) of Yukon, Brenda Blassingame (Steve) of Norman, Cindy Zuck (Bryan) of McLoud and daughter-in-law Vicky Wallin; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons: Roy and Jeff Wallin, her first husband Jim Wallin, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. The family will receive visitors Monday, June 25, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with open visitation on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City.
