Billy "Bill" Joe Self went to be with the Lord on August 29th, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis, wife, Lori, and brother, Edward. He is survived by his parents, Don and Billie Adams of Del City, his children, Milisa (Don) Berry, Joe Self, Chris Self, Tim (Lyndsey) Salander, Dawn (Mitchell) Murray and Jonathan “JJ” Self. He is also survived by his brother Larry (Vicki) Self, sisters Raylene (Steve) Somerlott, Loreana (Tom) Wrench, and Davida (Steve) Dean, as well as numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Bill retired from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office in 1994 after a long career in law enforcement, including time as Chief of Police in Harrah, OK. He enjoyed fishing and automotive work. He always made sure to stay busy. Later in life, he spent a lot of time in the yard, especially tending to his garden. He made many great friends over the years and will be missed by all
