Bonnie was born to Clarence and Dorothy (Burke) Bobb on September 1, 1934. She grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and graduated high school in 1953. At age 20 she met Kenly Mulenex in Phoenix, Arizona and on August 27, 1955, they eloped in Las Vegas, Nevada. After getting married, Ken and Bonnie moved to Phoenix where the decision was made for Ken to re-enlist as a Thunderbird for the US Air force. While being stationed at Nellis Air force base, Ken and Bonnie decided to start their family.
Between the years of 1963 to 1972, Bonnie spent all of her time raising their three daughters and traveling the world with her husband. While stationed at Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico, Bonnie took frequent flying lessons and loved every second of it. She was also the secretary of the aero club on base throughout that time. After numerous Air force assignments, in 1972, Ken retired from the Air force and moved to Wichita Kansas. Once their children graduated high school, got married, and began their own families, Bonnie and Ken settled down in Oklahoma City (1982).
Mrs. Mulenex was very passionate about her family, friends and helping animals in any way she could. More often than not, her time was spent researching ancestry, feeding her husband, calling her friends and relatives, and searching for the next dog to adopt. As a homemaker, she was very enthusiastic about sewing and making crafts with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie enjoyed reading, either in a physical book form or digitally on her Kindle. Christmas time was her favorite; including the decor of poinsettias and melodies of Christmas tunes. Music was everything to her. She loved the voice of Elvis, George Strait, Wayne Newton and Susan Boyles, among others. Bonnie always had baked goods on the table ready for any company she might have. She was a very compassionate person and family always came first to her. After the loss of her middle child Linda, Linda's children immediately became her own.
