Carroll L. Gainey, 91, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away May 31, 2013. He was born January 18, 1922 in Hartsville, South Carolina. Carroll served his country proudly from 1943 until he retired in 1974, earning a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Collette Gainey, four children, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home on Southeast 29th, Tuesday, June 4t, 2013 at 10 am.
