He graduated from Del City High School in 1977 and would pursue his Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University. Ray worked for the City of Oklahoma City, as a Laboratory Quality Assurance Officer for their water department. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and could often be found watching the military or history channel.
Ray was preceded in death by his father; and beloved Irish Setter, Lady Mahogany Velvet, and his Rottweiler, Bullet. Survivors include his mother, Lois Arlene Powers; sister, Renita Powers; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
