Diana Fay McClary

Diana Fay McClary was born January 10, 1946 to John and Josephine Gale McClary in Atoka, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on October 27, 2022. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, she was proud to open her own music studio and become a music teacher. What a great achievement that was! Diana was equally proud to welcome each of her 6 grandchildren and eventually all 8 of her great-grandchildren into the family. She enjoyed passing her time with numerous hobbies that included gardening, crafts, music, pets, crossword puzzles, and reading and studying the Bible. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church of Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Preceded Diana in death are her parents, John and Josephine Gale McClary and her brother, Danny McClary.

Surviving Diana are her children, Tony Sanchez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rick (Teri) Sanchez of Newcastle, Oklahoma, and Christy (Frank) Hays of Chesapeake, Virginia. She is also survived by her brother, James McClary of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Larry (Traci) McClary of Shreveport, Louisiana and 6 nieces and 7 nephews.

A visitation for Diana will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 Se 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home.
