

Donald attended Southwestern College and proudly served his country in the United States Army Artillery. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal.
He married the love of his life, Ruby Arnold, on August 16, 1974. Together, they built a loving home and raised three children: Tina, Joseph, and Christopher.
Donald was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Oklahoma Sooners. He found great joy in fishing and playing golf—pastimes that brought him peace, happiness, and many cherished memories with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Townley and husband Joseph; son, Joseph Harris and wife Jessica; and son, Christopher Harris. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Tyler Townley and wife Macenzi, Taylor Townley, Isabelle Harris, and Abigale Harris; as well as one great-granddaughter, Millie Townley.
Donald is further survived by his siblings: brothers Marvin Harris; Garry Harris and wife Neta; Billy Harris and wife Lori; sisters Sue Harshaw and husband Reverend Steve Harshaw; and Jacquelyn Flowers and husband Steve Flowers; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby Harris; his parents, Elisha “Jack” Harris and Odessa Harris-Horne; and his grandparents, Onie and Charles Phipps.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, with Reverend Steve Harshaw officiating.
Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
