

Donald enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, baking his famous Buttermilk pie and watching his favorite sports teams Thunder and Texas Rangers. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Durwood and Tracy Spears, and Christine Asbill. Survivors include his loving wife, Marie; children, Sharon Hayes, Ramona Freels and husband Tom Williams, and Daryl and wife Susan Spears; grandchildren, Glen and wife Mary Whitmire, Daniel and wife Remonica Whitmire, Matthew Freels, Rudy and wife Amy Freels, Calvin and wife Katy Spears, and Eric Spears; great-grandchildren, Mackinzi, Mikael, and Olivia Whitmire, Ariel, Michaelah, Grant, Trent, Cori, and Maci Freels, and Stetson Spears; great- great granddaughter, Ava Whitmire; Brother-in-law, Bryn Gary; Sister-in-law, Alverta Spears; and survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 8 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
