Dudley moved to Oklahoma at a young age and never left. He always enjoyed music, especially classic rock, country and western music. He joined the US Army and served as a helicopter mechanic in Vietnam, eventually continuing to serve his country in the Army Reserves. Dudley loved his job so much that he went on to obtain his Master’s degree in psychology in order to help veterans battling PTSD.
Dudley married his loving wife of 33 years, Gail, on February 23, 1991. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and the VFW in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Dudley loved reminiscing about the wild antics that he and his brothers got into at a young age. He tried to teach patience to anyone who would listen, but it would rarely stick. Perseverance and integrity are his legacy. Dudley’s perfect day would be finishing a run, listening to music, and being surrounded by his friends and family. Dudley will always be remembered by his kindness and compassion.
Dudley is preceded in death by his parents Dudley Milton Hutcheson Sr. and Emma Lou Lutz, Brother Henry Hutcheson, Brother Francis Hutcheson, and brother-in-law Richard Breeden.
Dudley is survived by his wife Gail Hutcheson, daughter Barbara Ann Adams and husband Yogi of Millington, Tennessee, Sister Helen Breeden of Midwest City, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Elaine Hutcheson, 7 nieces and 4 nephews.
Donations in Dudley’s honor can be made to the Parkinson Alliance of Oklahoma or St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City.
