Edna Francis Peterson 88 of Midwest City passed away December 17, 2011. She was born September 22, 1923 in Paden, OK. Edna married Joseph Samuel Tucker on November 12, 1945 and to this marriage, they had two daughters Sandra K. and Deborah Jo. She married Art Peterson in 1991. She was an active member of Meadowood Baptist Church, involved in the ESL program and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Edna was a homemaker who raised her children and helped raise and teach her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, arts & crafts, loving every minute of it. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Samuel Tucker and her 2nd husband Art Peterson. She is survived by her children Sandra Austin of Midwest City OK, Deborah Jo Wilke and husband Kerry of Breckenridge, CO. grandchildren Christina Austin, Jeremy Austin and wife Tyler Weldon, great grandchildren Caleb and Noah Evans, Tucker and Miles Austin; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Meadowood Baptist Church, with interment at Arlington Memory Gardens.
