Elnora Rowena Mason, 100, of OKC, OK went to be with her Lord on July 29, 2014 in Midwest City, OK. She was born October 6, 1913 in Pittsburgh, KS to the union of Thomas Mitchell James and Mary Maude McCracken James. Elnora was married to the love of her life, Rev. Chester L. Mason for 59 years. She was a homemaker, a pianist/organist for 80 plus years, she sang in the choir, and she loved being involved with the church from VBS to Missionary work.
Elnora is preceded in death by her parents; a brother; husband; daughter, Shirley Rose Plunk; and son-in-law Don Tyson. She is survived by daughters, RoseaLea Tyson, Marye Alice Luce, Joyce Stogsdill and husband David; son-in-law, Clyde Plunk; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; 1 niece and 1 nephew.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment to follow at White Rose Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK.
