Frances Christine Blair

Frances Christine “Chris” Blair, 63 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away March 19, 2014 in Oklahoma City. Born May 10, 1950 in Henryetta, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Gavin and Thelma (Pierce) Blair. At the age of 18 Chris joined the Navy where she spent the next 3.5 years traveling the country while serving. She spent the last 20 years volunteering and working with the headstart program as an early childhood educator. Chris was a wonderful daughter, sister, and aunt. Most of all, she was an amazing mother and grandmother (teta), and not only to the children she gave birth to. Chris will forever be loved by those left behind. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her Mother; 3 children Alicia and her husband Tony Webb; Elizabeth Grant and her fiance Tom Parash; and Matthew Grant and his girlfriend Shante Faagai; 3 grandchildren Lanaya Webb; Sarina webb; and Gavin Grant. 2 sisters J. R. Blair and Guyann and her husband O. J. Lindly; and many other extended family members. There will be a viewing for family and friends on Tuesday from 8-8, family will receive friends from 6-8. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, 5005 SE 29th St., Del City, OK 73115.
