

Frank Leroy Comstock passed away peacefully into Heaven on June 3, 2016. He was born May 10, 1920, in Beaver County near Forgan, OK, to William M. and Laura Ann Comstock. Frank attended a one-room school and graduated from Forgan High School in 1938. He proudly served his country as a US Navy Seabee earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He married Betty Mae Brown in 1944 and they were married over 70 years. Frank and Betty were blessed with two daughters, Sondra Ann and Sharlotte Lu. He worked at Scott Chevrolet in Oklahoma City for 38 years. Frank always said he had a good job, the best wife in the world, and two wonderful daughters. Frank was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite member of the Masonic Lodge #532 in Midwest City and a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and proudly displayed many trophy heads in his home. After retirement, he enjoyed many years of traveling and camping with his family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one brother, wife Betty, daughter Sharlotte Lu Rosebeary and son-in-law William H. Van Huss. He is survived by daughter Sondra A. Van Huss, son-in-law Mike Rosebeary and his wife Kathy, grandchildren Michael Rosebeary and Simona McBride and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
