Gladys Geraldine Elkins, 93, passed away on June 29, 2015. She was born on September 2, 1921 in Lucien, OK to William Henry and Anna Mae (Smith) Schomaker. Gladys enjoyed playing bridge, tending to her pets and spending time with her family. She loved helping others, and volunteered her time working as a volunteer at the Midwest City Regional Medical Center for several years.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband Troy; son, Robert William Elkins; grandson, Michael Cole Elkins; and several siblings.
Survivors include her son, Mike Elkins and wife, Debra, daughter-in-law, Susie Elkins; grandchildren, Troy Elkins, and wife, Jenny, Becky Sue Elkins; great-grandchildren, Stevie Elkins, Lucas and Jackson Elkins Niesmith, Emmalynn Elkins; and sister, Babe Hanson.
