My Aunt Glenda was one of those people, that being in her presence you felt peace, happiness and contentment. Her laugh was very contagious, it brought joy. You would find yourself laughing with her over the most silly and goofy things. She was full of wisdom and had patience like no other person. Sometimes I would catch myself watching her, how patient she was with Destiny, and all the kids. I could only pray for that kind of patience. She always hugged me tight! Made me feel safe and loved, I believe everyone felt that way when she was around, even when she was sick, she always wanted everyone else to feel happy and loved.  I love and miss her terribly!

A year has passed and it seems like yesterday...but other times it seems like it has been many years since I'v seen Glenda and shared time with her.  I still miss her so much, but so happy she is not suffering. I know my mother was happy to see her.  They both had the sweetest souls I've ever known. I'm looking forward to the day I see them again.  Love to all the family.. Donna..........

Glenda was such a special friend.  I miss her so much, I can always be thankful for all she meant to me, and will see her again someday in heaven.

I think I miss her more everyday , but happy that she is with all our loved ones that went before , & is with her Savior.

Glenda was so very special to me. I always knew that she loved me and prayed for me and my family.  She helped me by cleaning my house when I needed that help, listened to me and shared with me so many things.  I love her so much.  I will miss talking to her but know she is free from the pain and know I will see her again in heaven.  I will look forward to that time.  It will be a happy reunion.  She was such a blessing to me.  She will be remembered forever.

Glenda always made me smile when I would come visit, and she made me feel like a part of the family from the first time I met her. She will always have a special place in my heart, and if it were not for her, I would never have met her beautiful daughter, the love of my life.

Glenda, it was such a blessing to know you.  You were the perfect example of a Godly woman, and I truly admired you. Thank you so much for being such a dear friend to my mother.  We love you so.

Your mom was one of the most wonderful people I have ever known.  She loved all you children with all her heart.  She was an amazing mother and wife.  She was caretaker to your grandpa Brown for over 3 years, and did so with love and care. She suffered thru so many years of sickness with your dad, with love, faithfullness and more strength than I can imagine. The same strength and faith in our Lord made her battle with cancer an amazing testimony to be admired by everyone.
Her strength of character, honesty, loyalty and faithfulness to our Lord Jesus was her driving force. She always displayed the best of Christian attributes.  The kindness she showed to everyone was contagious. Her sense of humor was so funny and, sometimes, so unexpected.  She was a joy to be around. She was such an important part of my life, as well as the rest of the family.  We are so blessed to have been her family.  Every life she touched was made better. This world was so much better for having her in it.
I loved her like my own sister and we shared lots of good times and bad times, as all family does.  I could write pages about how wonderful she was, but all who knew her already knows. She was a true role model and my hero.
She raised amazing children and was the best sister ever. I know Melba and Judy will always miss her, as I will. She will be on our minds often and always in our hearts. No one can replace her.
I can't imagine how you children will go on without her.  Oh, yes, I do.  Because you are all strong like her, and her love for others will carry on in you.  I love all of you so very much and know that you can always count on me to be there for you.  Your dad would want that, too. So, so long to your mom and I will look forward to seeing her in heaven, and listening to her singing with the angels.  Lots of love and sympathy to all the family and all her friends. Glenda, I know you will be missed by family and friends.You welcomed our group from PVBC with open arms to PBC.You were such a sweet person.

I will always treasure the fond memories of my childhood visiting Aunt Glenda's house in Newalla with my brother and sisters.  Even though I feel we did not get to go as often as we wished, when we did go we had, I believe, some of the best times of our lives.  We loved seeing our cousins Gerald, Gary, and Glenn whenever we could.  May their mother Glenda rest in peace, and may they be comforted in this time of sorrow knowing they are loved and thought of dearly.

I love Glenda so very much and miss being able to talk to her, but know she has no pain now.  She was a beautiful person and always willing to do everything she could for anyone.

 I'll always remember her laugh and sense of humor and her beautiful legs and her loving to put make up on me as i was a Ministers' daughter and not allowed to wear it.I have not seen Glenda in 48 yrs  but will always remember days spent with her and her family In Oklahoma City off SE 41st street during our High School years.Thanks for the memories my friend.

Where do I begin. I have so many fond memories of my Aunt Glenda. She was a beautiful person in so many ways. She was intelligent, funny, positive, and kind. She loved life, her church, her friends, and her family so very much. I have so much admiration for her. Aunt Glenda would not back down from any challenge, and she exhibited so much strength throughout her life, no matter what obstacles crossed her path. I cherish our visits we had, both on the phone and in person, sitting around having coffee and laughing. I always felt at home at Aunt Glenda's. No matter how tired or busy she was she always welcomed me and my kids (Cody, Dustin, and Katelyn) to her home. When I was a girl I would love visiting Aunt Glenda's and Uncle Carl's house, spending time with the boys, spending the night, and waking up to the best pancakes, peanut butter and syrup ever. When Cody and Destiny were toddlers, we took a trip to Lake Eufaula. We went to clean up the cabin. It had flooded there, so we couldn't swim at the Lake, but we visited the town. Cody and Destiny acquired the goofiest glasses and umbrella hats. We got such a kick out of that. Aunt Glenda always knew how to make things fun. She loved her kids and grandkids so much, you could just see the pride on her face when she spoke of them. One thing I know for sure, when Mom, Aunt Glenda, and Aunt Melba got together you knew there would be laughing going on. They would act like High School girls, they had such a sisterly bond, that nothing was going to take that away. I am blessed over and over for having such a beautiful and special Aunt Glenda in my life. I will miss her terribly, but know that she would not want us to be sad. She is now at peace, no more suffering, no more pain, and in the presence of her Heavenly Father.

It's truly a blessing to have known Glenda. Glenda was someone who exemplified the love of Christ so well, and her passion for taking care of others and the Church is matched by nobody. I'll never forget being at the church one saturday while Glenda was cleaning the church and seeing her take the time to put mayonnaise on the leaves of the plants in the sanctuary so they would shine at church the next morning. It showed to me the amount of love and dedication she had to taking care of the church. I will also never forget her as my sunday school teacher. She was the first person who taught me my books of the bible in order from beginning to end and she even sang us a song to help us. I know Glenda will always be looking down on us from heaven with that wonderful smile of hers, and I pray that I can live my life with as much love as she did.

Glenda has been a part of every memory I have as an adult of the church at Pink. I know there was a great celebration in Heaven as God welcomed His daughter home. I'll always remember her telephone calls, the laughter we shared as we discussed our families and teaching Sunday School classes at the same time. I know her family is so proud of the way she lived her life.

Glenda, you were so were always so nice to me!  You took me into your home and treated me like a daughter. Whenever I would stay the night, you would always have fun things for me and Destiny to do.  We loved just sitting around the house talking and joking with you.  Every time we had problems you would give the best advice, even if it wasn't exactly what we were looking for at the time.  When I look back and think about everything you taught us, I see the meaning behind it.  It took me a couple years to understand it all but, I will always remember it.  You were a loving, Godly woman I have always looked up to and admired. I will miss your contagious laugh.  I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. I know you are in a better place now, but it is hard to know I will never see you again. You will always have a place in my heart. 

My fondest memory of you is one evening at your house.  We (you, Destiny and I)  were sitting around eating supper.  You had made your famous ramen noodles, (to this day I cannot make them like you do!) you had also prepared a plate of various fruit and veggies. Destiny and I were sitting around talking a about school and whatnot just being our normal teenage selves.  Out of the blue you said "Hey girls, do my teeth look yellow to you??"  (you were holding up a piece of an orange to your mouth).  It was so funny and out of the blue we couldn't do anything but laugh! I remember that night often and still laugh ever time!  You always knew how to make us laugh and join our conversations! 
The memories we have together will be ones I hold dear to my heart forever. 

You are such a beautiful woman and Destiny is so lucky to have you as her mom.  She has a great head on your shoulders and it is all thanks to you. You did such a good job raising her and I know she will continue to make you proud.

Aunt Glenda, I love you so much. You are such an inspiration to me, because of how much faith and wisdom you always had. You're such an angel. You are one of the sweetest people I've ever met and I'm extremely blessed to say that I had you as my Aunt. I'm going to miss you so much, but I will see you again someday. I will always remember all of the great memories we had together ever since I was a little girl.

I was always so excited when we would get to go to Aunt Glenda's house.  She always made the best no-bake cookies!  My favorite memory of Aunt Glenda was at Vacation Bible School at Pink Baptist Church one summer.  She gave me my very first Bible there.  I didn't read it much back then, but her godly example was and still is a driving factor behind my faith in Christ.  I will miss her very much, but I find great joy in the thought that she is no longer suffering and is now singing and dancing and worshiping at the feet of her Father in Heaven.

Glenda ,  You was so very good to my child danielle as destiny and her were friends and you always allowed her to stay the night with destiny.    You were also very good to all the band kids and always tryed to help where ever you could.  I will miss you and  pray and hope your  baby girl will be okay. Aunt Glenda was a true inspiration to all of us. She was a beautiful person inside and out. There will always be a special place in my heart for her.

Words cannot begin to express the sorrow felt from the loss of Glenda.  I am privileged to have known her as a friend.  The world would be a better place if there were more like her.  She was leading the women's Sunday school class at PBC when I first visited there 30 years ago.  We have been friends ever since.  I always admired her spiritual wisdom and her faithfulness to serve.  Any time I do a project at church I find myself always thinking of Glenda and wondering how she would do it!  She will never be forgotten, and I know she is standing in awe in the presence of her Lord right now.

Glenda, you were such a kind, gentle person, and were and still are loved. You were always a wonderful friend to my mom, and like an aunt to me and my sisters. I will never forget the impact you made on my life.

Glenda, you were such a sweet lady, and meant so much to my mom and family.  Your kind personality and genuine smile will be missed.

Glenda, I love you and will miss you.  You've always been a true and wonderful friend.  You're a beautiful and special person. You were my first and dearest friend  from  Pink Baptist Church and were always there for me. Thank you. We giggled together and cried together.  I hope you knew how much I and my family loved and appreciated you.

I am so sorry about Glenda's passing. I hadn't seen her for many years, but I have a lot of great memories of her and Uncle Carl Jean while growing up. She was such a beautiful woman in every way. She had a contagious smile and a warm, loving presence. When my mom, dad, sister and I would go with the "Brown family", which was a lot of us, camping for a week at Lake Gibson, we had so much fun. Glenda loved to fish.  Those were great times I will never forget. 
She is in a much better place now, with Jesus, her Lord and Saviour, rejoicing in His presence!

I loved you so much my precious sister , Judy and I will miss you forever , I know you told us to be strong for you , you know how much we tried ,but Judy could not be there in the end because of the anniversary of the death of her only son & couldn't bear to let you go .I hope you would still be proud of us .I know you would be the boys , & your daughter ,so goodbye for now , until we see you again .love you always , so many - many memories.I still don't
