She loved to read and play her games when she couldn't get outside. She found comfort in her faith in God and with her church family of the Little Axe Baptist Church. She loved to travel anywhere when she could. but most of all she loved having her family around. Glenda spent time working overseas with her husband in Russia, and Korea before coming back to Little Axe. She loved to tell about her ventures and the people she met along the way that became new friendships. Glenda was more than a mom or grandma. She became your friend, your safe place and could always make you see the good in the worst situation, she was a positive person that found the good in everyone. to know her was to love her. You never heard her complain she was always "OK" or I am fine, even on her worst days.
Throughout her life she opened her door to all the kids in the community she became a second mom to so many and continued those relationships throughout their life she was also MAM-MA to so many kids. you never left her house hungry if you did it was your fault she thought everyone needed to eat when they came in.
She will be forever missed by so many that loved her.
